Social Insurance policy for Foreign Staff in China

Overseas employees in China can get involved in Social Coverage soon after experiencing employment procedures and acquiring corresponding employment certificates.

On September six, 2011, the Ministry of Human Means and Social Security issued the Interim Actions to the Participation of Foreigners Employed in China in Social Insurance (the Actions) which came into effect on Oct fifteen, 2011.

The Actions specifies that employers who make use of foreigners shall, in thirty days in the day on which the work certification is managed, make preparations with the foreigners to be involved in social insurance policy. Foreigners employed in China, immediately   CFR after under-going work methods and obtaining corresponding work certificates, shall be involved in social insurance coverage for employees, which include primary endowment insurance policies for employees, essential clinical coverage for employees, get the job done-associated harm insurance, unemployment insurance policy and maternity insurance coverage.

The payment on the social insurance plan for foreigners shall be created over a monthly basis according to the monthly wage obtained through the international employee. Equally the organization and the worker shall add on the payment.
